Whimsical Humor
Posted by: | CommentsI recently have been sharing some books with Mom – she found an author I would like to share with everyone.
Whimsical and fun humor that can take you away from the dreary days of rainy summers, chilly days of fall, and I know that cold blast of old man winter will be coming soon.
Katie Fforde has written several books, and I have only read a few, so I am looking forward to wrapping myself up in nice big blanket as the winter chill of Chicago hits and continue my reading.
Bidding for Love – was a full of light humor that touched on the odditites of family. The leading character was thrown into a project that she would not give up on. Determination and a bit of a pissed off attitude from the get go, she went full throttle to get what she wanted. We could all learn a little lesson from this witty humor as the main character delved into the unknown and came out succesful.
Practically Perfect has a young hammer swinging, overall clad gal willing to take on the challenges that many woman fear. She renovates her own little cottage, I could just picture the small section of houses that she lived in, Katie Fforde brings the quaint charm of this little village right into your mind with a charming story of adventure and friendship.
Marketing & PR
Posted by: | CommentsThis is absolutely a eye opening and simple concept to grasp. This is worth reading.
New Rules of Marketing & PR by David Meerman Scott – I have to say it’s quite eye opening and it’s adding to my repetoire of intersting reading.
